The floor covering or flooring provides a smooth, clean, impervious, durable, colourful, hard and attractive surface. The choice of material for floor covering is affected by factors such as cost, endurance, noise insulation, comfort, and cleaning effort. Some types of flooring must not be installed below grade, including laminate and hardwood due to potential damage from moisture.
Flooring has so many roles to fulfil including sound-proofing, decor, comfort and style. A good flooring well-installed can make a huge impact and make a statement about the space.
