What are repairs?
Building Repairs are undertaken to replace the existing parts of buildings and services which get deteriorated due to certain failures or ageing of buildings. It is necessary to prevent the structure & services from deterioration as soon as possible and repair/ restore it to its original conditions to the possible extent. Also, Repair is the technical aspect of rehabilitation it refers to alterations/ modifications of a structure partly or wholly which is damaged in serviceability or appearance.
Remodelling:
Remodelling is a process of changing an entire room or building.
As compare to restoration and renovation, Remodeling tends to be a much more involved process, as it involves making changes to a building’s structure. Examples or remodelling include:
Expanding the square footage of a building
Gutting, removing, or adding walls
Raising ceiling heights
Alterations/ additions in plumbing
Additions in heating/cooling ducts, etc.
Restoration is the process in which you return the building to its original condition.
Renovation is the process of renewing a building or structure by fixing what’s already present and in some cases adding new components.
