Waterproofing is done to the parts of the building after construction, to address the problems as they emerge. Waterproofing is creating an impervious barrier over the structure to prevent water penetration.
Waterproofing is necessary to the various parts of the structure like bathrooms, w.c. , Terrace, chajjas, basements, water tanks swimming pools etc.
There are major two types of waterproofing methods:
1) Traditional waterproofing technique and
2) Modern waterproofing technique.
