Lets us see how to do site planning and what are the points that we need to take into consideration while doing site analysis.
Site analysis is very important in any building design. As an architect, we have to go on the site and take the first-hand experience of all the things which are present on the site or factors affecting the site which ultimately affects the design of the structure.
First, make a list of things that we need to take on the site for studying the analysis.
We have to write much important information about the site and its surrounding, we also have to draw or sketches, etc. on the site, so we need to carry a sketchbook, drawing pencils, eraser, and other necessary related tools.
It is very important to know where is the “North” of the site, as we study all the climatology based on its direction, so always carry a “Compass” with you and mark the North of the site.
We have to take or need measurements of the site and other elements that are in or around our site, so measuring tape is important.
Clicking photographs or documenting the site is equally important, so always carry a camera with you and click photographs of the site and all the important elements in and around the site.
Now that we have all the equipment for going on the site and doing the site analysis, there are a few more important things that we need to take into consideration.
