There are different Surface finishing materials like paints, varnishes, distempers, and white/colour washing. Application of surface finishes can be done on surfaces like plastered walls, ceilings, wooden surfaces, metal surfaces, etc. These finishing materials have to provide a hygienic surface and present healthy surroundings to live in.
Paints are primarily used for walls and ceilings, and for metal works of windows, woods, etc. Varnishes are preferred for woodworks and sometimes for walls.
